ReplyYou mean Drucker's kids do not go to Solon Schools? I did not know that. That really looks bad. There are certain positions where you have to send your kids to the local schools if they are good ones. Mayor is one of those positions.
Do as I say not as I do.

ReplyThe irony of narrative next to the photo on this link is filled with irony given the events of the past few months.

ReplySo why so suddenly is it now? How did things evolve to this? The dots don't connect right now. Will they ever?

ReplyMy point is if some of these holdovers (including the politicians) thought something was wrong at SCA/FSCA during Prasser's tenure or just didn't like the way it was being run then why did they wait using the new fraud policy to take action?

ReplyI have been a long time follower/reader of this situation (but not an active participant) going back to the time the city created SCA. My memory may not be totally accurate about the course of events but I believe Anne feels the former mayor, current HR director and Prasser really treated her sister poorly when they dismissed her as an art center employee. She has expressed this in letters she has written to the papers.
She apparently hates the former mayor, current HR director and Prasser. She also loves the current mayor. What I find ironic about all this is even if there was wrongdoing at SCA (either procedural or criminal) why has it taken almost three years into this new mayor's term to root it out? Most of the cast of players involved in and supporting this investigation (including the current mayor) have either worked for or have been elected in this city for a long time.

ReplyI am not sure you are right about that Rocco. I think what you are observing here is part of the root cause that got this started and led to Prasser's resignation and investigation.

ReplyLadies and gentleman, we finally have the missing pieces to this puzzle. Karen Prasser really lost her job because of Phil Dirt and goose poop. I knew there was much more to this entire investigation than met the eye. So now you have "the rest of the story".

ReplyAnne, do you mean that Prasser did not write that letter of resignation? What more do know about this than city hall is not saying? Do you consider yourself as having played a role in her resignation? You seem almost giddy about this.

I would if I was an older employee and my $70,000+ job with great benefits were on the line. Drucker's former assistant has a $250,000 wrongful dismissal pending against the city and her.
