Bobby Thomas is the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's fugitive of the week.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is seeking information on Bobby Thomas, a fugitive accused of the rape of a minor and kidnapping. According to a release from the task force, Thomas is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Lakewood Police Department. Allegedly, Thomas raped a minor under the age of 14 multiple times between August and October 2012. Thomas, 39, is about 5’10” and 240 pounds. He’s thought to be hiding in the Cleveland area, and he used to live near the 3300 block of West 125th Street in Cleveland. Both members of a Solon couple are facing charges after a woman filed a report saying her boyfriend beat and raped her, only to recant the allegations later, according to Solon Police. Police say the 31-year-old woman told police on Feb. 2 that her live-in boyfriend, 30, and father of her child had hit and raped her. Officers advised the woman to visit the hospital and see a sexual assault nurse examiner and speak with a victim's advocate through the court system, but the woman refused. An arrest warrant was issued for the boyfriend as police continued to investigate the case. After the warrant was issued, the woman returned to police station and said she made the allegations up because she was mad at him. Now both of them face charges. …

Solon Police have arrested a 47-year-old Mayfield Heights man on charges of rape and felonious assault. Charges are pending against Melvin Treadway Jr., who is in custody with the Solon Police Department, according to a news release. Police say a 30-year-old woman reported that on the evening of Sept. 11, her boyfriend beat and raped her at a home on Cannon Road. The woman had evidence of bruising and swelling, as well as cigarette burns on her body.
