Two Men Found Passed Out in Car, Driver Arrested

A man was arrested and charged with physical control after a Solon Police officer found him and another man passed out in the car in a gas station parking lot. The officer noticed the two men passed out in the car at the Shell Station on SOM Center Road. He woke them up and asked the driving how much he had to drink. "A good amount," the driver replied, according to the police report. The driver, a 30-year-old man from Chagrin Falls, was arrested and taken to Solon jail. He refused a breathalyzer test. The passenger was given a ride home.

Woman Arrested While Drinking In Her Mercedes

A 51-year-old Aurora woman was arrested and charged with physical control after she was caught drinking in her black Mercedes at Solon Square shopping plaza, according to Solon Police. Officers noticed the woman when they pulled into the parking lot. According to the report, she got out of the car looked around and get back in before officers approached, the report reads. The woman had an open can of Olde English 800 in the car. She recorded a breathalyzer test of .124, over the legal limit of .08, according to the report. She was arrested and taken to Solon jail.

Man Found Passed Out With His Pants Down

A Mayfield Heights man was charged with physical control after he was passed out in his car with his pants down, according to Solon Police. Donald Dubose, 36, of Mayfield Heights was arrested on Sept. 18 at 10:34 p.m. and charged with physical control. According to Solon Police, Dubose was found in his car in the driver’s seat with the keys in the ignition. He also had his pants down around his ankles, according to the report. Police roused the man, who had trouble pulling up his pants. Police suspected he was intoxicated, so they performed a sobriety test. He submitted to a breath test with a result of .228, more than three times the legal limit, according to the police report. Police say Dubose was arrested for the same offense in the …

Police Arrest Vomiting Man on Physical Control Charge

The information in this report is from the Solon Police. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Solon Police received a call at about 6 p.m. Feb. 10 that a man had stumbled out of Benny's Grille, climbed into his car to drive away, only to open his door and begin vomiting onto the pavement in the Solon Square Shopping Center. The man, a 56-year-old Twinsburg resident, was still vomitting when police arrived.  The man registered a .115 blood-alcohol level, over the legal limit of .08. He was charged with physical control because his keys were in the ignition.
