Solon Business Founder Dies in Chainsaw Accident

According to media reports, Neil Kruschke Jr., the founder of Solon-based Stopol Inc., died in a chainsaw accident in Michigan Aug. 26.

Various media are reporting that the 44-year-old founder of Solon-based Stopol Inc. died in a chainsaw accident in Michigan last week. According to the Mining Journal of Marquette, MI, Neil Kruschke Jr., of Chagrin Falls, was found dead Aug. 26 after he slipped while using a chainsaw to clear away some trees from a camp in Republic Township. Police told the Journal that Kruschke slipped while using the saw and cut himself. He was found later by an employee of the local gas company. The newspaper does not identify Kruschke by name, but he was identified in a report by the Plastics News, a trade publication that covers Stopol. According to the trade publication, Kruschke  and his father and brother founded Stopol in Solon in 1990. He sold …
