National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 6, is a big day for many student-athletes, and we would love for you to share their accomplishments on Solon Patch. For some high school senior athletes, it's a day they make their college plans official. It's something to take pride in, and we would love to help parents, coaches and athletic directors spread the word. Five Solon High School athletes, four football players and one runner, announced where they were going to school next year.
Five Solon High School athletes announced Wednesday where they would be going to school and competing athletically next year. Four football players -- Nate Hoff, Austin Stock, Cory Stuart and Nick Davidson -- announced their decisions. Paige Yaeger, a track standout, also made an announcement today. Football wide receiver Tres Barksdale is still deciding his college decision.

Solon High School athletes will announce their college decisions today at 2 p.m. Most of the athletes, who are committing to universities today as part of the National Signing Day, have already made up their mind. An exception is Tres Barksdale, a standout wide receiver for the Comets who had earlier made a verbal commitment to Georgetown.
