Great Big Home and Garden Show Now At I-X Center

Cure your cabin fever and tour the 4,000 square-foot Idea Home, Celebrity Designer Rooms and inspiring outdoor living spaces at the fourth annual event Feb. 2-10.

The Great Big Home and Garden Show will return to the I-X Center Feb. 2-10 with more than 650 exhibitors. Remodel Ohio Brings Home Improvement Ideas To I-X Center

NARI home improvement show set for Jan. 17-20

The 32nd annual NARI Remodel Ohio Home Improvement Show runs Jan. 17-20 at the I-X Center, 6200 Riverside Drive, Cleveland. The show includes appearances at noon, 3 and 6 p.m. by David Bromstad of HGTV's Color Splash; designer rooms created by local remodelers; dozens of exhibits of local products and services; and a National Pool and Spa show. Visitors can also bid on custom doghouses, with proceeds benefiting the Animal Protective League, and see cooking demonstrations from area chefs. Tickets are $14 for adults, with kids 16 and under admitted free. A $4 discount is available at northeast Ohio Sherwin-Williams stores, and a $2 discount is available at remodelohio.org. Huge Craft Show Returns to I-X Center

Christmas Connection set for Nov. 16-18

The I-X Christmas Connection will return Nov. 16-18 to the I-X Center in Cleveland. The craft show includes up to 500 booths featuring items like gourmet dips, woven garments, flavored coffees, chocolate-covered pretzels, handmade jewelry, furniture and much more. New this year is the Christmas Wine Cellar, a wine-tasting area; and the Traveling Duck® Tape experience where attendees can check out a 31-foot Duck® Bus and other creative items made from the tape. A free roll of Duck® brand duct tape will be given to the first 500 attendees each day of the show. Mitt Romney Coming to Cleveland on Sunday

With the presidential race headed down the home stretch, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is making a stop in Cleveland on Sunday. As part of the “Rockin’ for Victory Rally,” Romney is scheduled to speak at the I-X Center at 2:15 p.m. Musical guests — including Rodney Atkins, Sam Moore and the Marshall Tucker Band — are scheduled to perform.  According to a news release, all those in attendance “will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible.” No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids or signs will be allowed.  However, cameras are permitted.
