Get a jump on the holiday rush! The Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, the Solon Community Center will host the 2012 Holiday Shopping Spree featuring dozens of local shops and home-based businesses as they present hundreds of gift ideas to help you personalize holiday presents this year. You’ll find something for everyone from grandparents to little ones – all in one place at one time. The Solon Early Childhood PTA’s (SECPTA) Holiday Shopping Spree will take place at the Solon Community Center (35000 Portz Parkway) on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 7:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and no advance registration is needed. We’re launching our annual Deck the House Contest to find the most over-the-top holiday decorations in America—the best “decked” house in the country—the one home so spectacularly decorated that everyone in town jokes your holiday decorations could rival Rockefeller Center’s. If this sounds like your house, upload a photo or video of your home to our contest page from Nov. 26 to Dec. 16 (Check back here next Monday for a direct link to our contest page so you can enter).
