During March, the Solon Fire Department will be collecting non-perishable food items at public places in Solon.
Help the Solon Fire Department feed the hungry during a month-long Harvest For Hunger Drive. Residents can donate non-perishable food items at dropboxes at public places around town starting today through the end of March. There are also secure boxes to make cash donations. The donations will go to the Cleveland Foodbank. You can donate non-perishable food items at these locations: There will also be collections at Solon Schools buildings for students to donate goods. Firefighters will also be on hand at Giant Eagle on March 31 for a collection drive, said Jake Fried, a firefighter who has organized the drive.
