First, workers at Taco Bell/KFC told police a man walked in at 3:15 p.m. and ordered a taco for 99 cents and paid with a suspicious looking $20 bill. The cashier looked at it for a moment before looking up to see that the man had already left — with his taco. At 6:45 p.m., an employee at McDonalds advised police that a man paid for food using two counterfeit $20 bills. Lt. Bruce Felton said police believe the same man used the bills at both locations.
