Kent Patch: A woman is dead and a man injured following a shooting Sunday night in Kent. Jose Quinones was accused of killing Belinda Mellott, 49, and injuring Gregory Cochran, 35. Mellott was pronounced dead at the scene by the Portage County Coroner, according to the Kent Patch story. Police's search for Quinones ended when he was found dead in a hotel in Cleveland. Police suspect that Quinones killed himself. Mentor Patch: A Cleveland man is accused of driving drunk with a 2-year-old child in the car, according to Mentor Patch. Kent Patch: Bond has been raised to $1.5 million for the Kent man charged with stabbing another Kent man to death last month. Leonard Armstrong, 49, was indicted last week on a murder charge in the stabbing death of Jeffrey A. Sipes, 57, who wasfound dead by Kent police in his Silver Meadows apartment June 6. At his initial arraignment, Armstrong's bond was set at $1 million by Portage County Common Pleas Judge Barb Oswick. Last week, Portage County Comon Pleas Judge Laurie Pittman raised his bond to $1.5 million.
