Solon Hockey Beats Brecksville 5-4 in Overtime To Advance To Baron Cup Final
Solon will play Amherst at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Brooklyn Ice Arena.
Solon Hockey prevailed in a thrilling overtime game 5-4 against Brecksville Friday to advance to the final in the White Division Baron Cup. Solon was led by Kyle Peterson, who made several key saves down the stretch to keep the Comets in the game. Sam Littman scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime. Also scoring for Solon were John Hannah, Dan Roberts and Adam Weisfeld. The Solon Comets will play the Amherst Comets in the White Division Baron Cup final on Sunday at 3:00 pm at the Brooklyn Ice Arena. Amherst defeated North Olmsted to advance.
