Man With Air Gun Scares People At Solon Community Park
The information in this report is from the Solon Police. An arrest does not mean a conviction.
Solon Police hurried to the community park after they received reports of a man with a gun in the parking lot. It turned out it was just an air gun. The man, 20-year-old Robert Alexander, of Solon, was cited for disorderly conduct after he argued and was defiant with the officer, according to the police report. A frightened resident called police on Aug. 8 at about 6:19 p.m. to say that she saw a man sitting in a car in the parking lot with a gun. Police arrived to find the man in the car with the door open and a woman sitting on the ground next to the car. The man had a black, plastic "Baby Desert Eagle" air gun on him. He resisted police, and so was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
