No Progress on Marc's Redesign, Expansion
City officials have not received an application for building permits for the project to improve and expand Marc's in Solon, reports the Solon Times.
There has been no further activity on plans to expand and improve the look of Marc's in the SOM Centre Plaza, reports the Solon Times. City officials told the newspaper that they have not received any building permit applications from the owner of the plaza. Approval for the project was granted by city council in September. At the time, Marc's representatives said the project would happen as soon as possible. Marc's hopes to build a 4,400-square-foot addition onto the back of the store and also add on another 8,300 square feet by expanding into the Pet Supplies Plus location next door.
