Solon residents will receive different bills for water and sewer service, but officials say customer service will improve
Solon residents have long been disappointed with the customer service from Cleveland Division of Water, Mayor Susan Drucker said. Cleveland Water had been billing Solon residents for both water and sewer even though Solon operated its own sewer system. But after about a year's worth of work, Solon is nearly ready to take over the billing duties for sewer service itself, a decision officials say will improve customer service and improve revenue collection.
