Solon Hockey advanced to the next round of the Baron Cup Tournament with a 5-3 victory Tuesday against Brecksville. Solon, the tourney's No. 2 seed, was led by Sam Littman, who added two goals. Also scoring for the Comets were John Hannah, who scored the first goal of the game, Alex Kuniega and Cory Jeziorski. Adding assists were Littman, Karl Pierce with two, Nate Lapin and Ryan Wolsky. Goalie Kyle Peterson collected 23 saves in net for the Comets. Up next for the Comets is third-seeded Rocky River, who defeated Kenston on Tuesday. That game begins at 8 p.m. Friday at the Coyne Recreation Center in Brooklyn. GAME SUMMARY
