Board Chairman Jim Kelvington said they are seeking applicants for the position and that he expects to begin the interview process after the New Year. Solon Police Hiring Patrol Officers

Do you have what it takes to be a Solon cop?

The Solon Police Department will be hiring patrol officers through the civil service testing process. Police Chief Chris Viland said that he is down one officer and that another officer is planning to retire, so he plans to hire at least two new officers. All testing will be done through Cuyahoga Community College. Test dates are May 6 and May 20, 2012. See the PDFs at the right side of the page for the full packet of information.
