Solon Girl Attacked After Shooshing Teens in Movie Theater

A 13-year-old Solon girl was attacked in the lobby of Solon Cinemas after she shooshed another group of teenagers during a showing of a movie, according to Solon Police. According to the report, the 13-year-old and her 12-year-old friend were watching "Red Dawn" at the movie theater on Dec. 9. Another group of girls were talking during the movie, and the 13-year-old told police she "shooshed" them to get them to be quiet. After the movie, the other girls confronted the victim in the lobby, and the confrontation turned physical. The girl told police she was hit, had her hair pulled and was knocked to the ground. Police are investigating the incident.

Maybe if people stopped coddling their kids, and let them fight their own battles, this country would be a better place. Sometimes the truth hurts, and sometimes it comes across as insensitive, but that's life, and our kids need to learn that lesson.
