What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with some love poems? On Feb. 3, Solon High School students held a Poetry Slam to raise money for charities. Solon Patch was there to video record many of the performances. While the students performed poems with a variety of themes, many of them touched on the subject of love. They're not all happy and sappy. Some are sad, some are complicated, some look at love from a unique angle. All of the poets performed with skill, bravery and creativity. Between Feb. 7 and Feb. 14, we featured a video performance of a poem every day, with the last one running on Valentine's Day. 'LOVE POEMS' BY:
