Five people in the last 10 days have been charged with shoplifting after Solon Police say they were caught trying to steal goods from the store.

Giant Eagle, which is hard at work on a new store in Solon, hasn't been neglecting its current store. In the last 10 days, five people have been caught trying to shoplift goods from the existing supermarket at Solon Village, according to Solon Police reports. All of them were caught by the company's loss prevention officers while trying to take unpaid merchandise from the store. Here are details on the arrests. Remember, charges are not convictions.
