Lewis Elementary Principal Fred Bolden kissed a pig after his students read for more than 500,000 minutes over 11 days during the annual Read-A-Thon

Students at Lewis Elementary School read a lot, so Principal Fred Bolden had to pay the price. He had to kiss a pig. Students at Lewis read for more than 500,000 minutes over 11 days and, as a result, raised about $8,600 for the school. Bolden promised to kiss a pig if the students beat their goal. They did, so on Wednesday, Bolden had to bring home to bacon, so to speak. Solon Patch was on hand to document the smooch. Check out the attached video!
