Nancy Traum plans to retire in March after 14 years with the Solon Chamber of Commerce.
Nancy Traum is retiring next year as the President/CEO of the Solon Chamber of Commerce. The announcement was made by Chamber Chairman Jim Kelvington in the December newsletter. Traum plans to retired in March 2013. She worked for the Solon Chamber for 14 years. Kelvington said the chamber has formed a search committee to find Traum's replacement. The Solon Chamber of Commerce announced its new officers for 2012. The new chairman is Jim Kelvington, of Kelco Transportation. The outgoing chairman Hal Becker said he believes Kelvington, who was a vice chairman in 2011, will do a great job. "Jim Kelvington will be an incredible leader with his warm and sincere demeanor," Becker said in the Chamber's December newsletter. "He has the knowledge and passion to continue our reputation as a world class chamber of commerce." The chair elect is Virginia Schmidt, of Commtrol. The Vice Chairs are Greg Rosenberg, of Business Communication Solutions, and Bob Beattie, of MP Biomedicals. Nancy Traum, president of the chamber, is the secretary. Treasurer is Kim Zagar.
