Man Arrested With Stolen Handgun In Solon

A Youngstown man was charged with a felony after he was caught in Solon with a stolen handgun, according to Solon Police. Devin A. Glover, 29, of Youngstown was arrested during a traffic stop on SOM Center Road and charged with felony receiving stolen property, fictitious plates, expired plates and driving under suspension, according to a police report. Glover was pulled over on Feb. 12 at 2:30 p.m. because he was spotted with a fictitious temporary tag on his car, according to the report. Police officers searched the car and found a .40-caliber Smith and Wesson semi-automatic pistol and a pistol magazine hidden in the compartment intended for a car jack, reads the report. Man Charged With Domestic Violence After Punching Roommate

A fight between two roommates over money and eviction from their apartment led one man to punch the other and land himself in jail, according to Solon Police. A 30-year-old Solon man is charged with domestic violence after he punched his roommate, a 57-year-old man, after an argument, according to police. The men lived in an apartment on Aurora Road. The charge is a felony because of a previous domestic violence charge involving these two men, according to the police report. The victim said he did not want to press charges, but he had a visible injury so police arrested the culprit and took him to Solon jail.

Solon Man Arrested For Drunken Driving For Eighth Time

A Solon man was arrested Sunday and charged with drunken driving for the eighth time, according to Solon Police. Dean Matthew Klembus, 48, of Aurora Road in Solon, was charged with drunken driving and failure to stay in marked lanes. He recorded a .249 blood-alcohol level, more than three-times the legal limit of .08. Klembus was pulled over on Aurora Road after police say he turned right onto Aurora Road from the left-turn-only lane on SOM Center Road, according to the police report. Klembus has seven prior convictions for drunken driving, and five in the last 20 years, according to Solon Police. Because of that, Klembus's drunken driving charges are fourth-degree felonies.
