Earth Fare's philosophy is to prohibit items with high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils (trans-fats), as well as artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors or fragrances. Earth Fare’s also doesn't sell meats and dairy containing antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones. Later this week Solon shoppers will get a new grocery option. Earth Fare, a natural-themed grocery store, will open its location at Solon Square Shopping Center on Thursday, May 8. The store is opening in the former location of Stein Mart. Earth Fare offers natural foods and healthy options. The natural foods grocery store is set to open at Solon Square this spring.
Earth Fare fans, get ready: The Solon location of the popular natural-foods grocery chain is expected to open in May. Earth Fare announced that the store at Solon Square (in the former Stein Mart location) will be opening this spring with an anticipated date of May 8. Solon Patch will provide updates when the opening draws closer. The grocery store is also holding a job fair from March 25 through March 27 at the Hampton Inn on Enterprise Parkway. The job fair will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. all three days. The company is hiring full-time and part-time workers in these positions: culinary and baking artisans, cafe staff, grocery stock clerks, top-grade butchers, produce clerks and cashiers. The information in this report is from the Solon Police.
About $4,000 worth of wiring was stolen from the construction site of the new Earth Fare grocery store, according to Solon Police. The wiring was in a eight large spools and locked inside the store, formerly Stein Mart at Solon Square on Aurora Road. The electrical company working on the building, Ullman Electric of Cleveland, took delivery of the wire on Jan. 11. The wiring was gone when workers returned on Jan. 14. Detectives are investigating.

Solon is getting another high-end grocery store. Earth Fare, a healthy supermarket chain, is going to be moving into the old Stein Mart location at Solon Square. The project is going to be before the planning commission on Aug. 14. Earth Fare, which has 28 stores in eight states, offers natural foods and healthy options.
