Solon's Music In Motion Show Choir Grand Champions in Marysville

Music in Motion came away with eight of nine possible trophies at a show choir showcase in Marysville, Ohio.

Editor's Note: This post was contributed by reader Kathy Skaggs. The kids did great again this weekend! On Jan. 28, Music in Motion competed at the Marysville Showcase. During the daytime awards, they won Best Costumes, Best Show Concept, Best Female Soloist (Dani Apple), and were the winners for the Large Mixed Division. Noah Fromson was named Best Performer for Solon.   In the evening finals, Music In Motion won Best Instrumental Combo, Best Vocal Sound, Best Choreography, and were named Grand Champions for the competition. Solon Show Choir Wins Competition in Piqua

Music in Motion won the competition and also took home a host of individual awards.

Solon High School's show choir, Music In Motion, won the 29th Annual Piqua High School Show Choir Invitational on Saturday in Piqua, Ohio. The show choir won a competition that included 17 choirs from Ohio, Indiana and West Virginia. The show choir also took home a host of individual awards. From Solon Patch reader Kathy Skaggs, who sent in information on the win: At the day time awards ceremony, Music In Motion won Best Male Vocalist (Kirk Eichelberger, Jr.), Best Female Vocalist (Dani Apple), Best Overall Male Performer (Kirk Eichelberger, Jr.), Best Costumes, Best Set Design, and Class A Champion.
