Crack Cocaine Found in Solon: Man Arrested During Traffic Stop

A 58-year-old Hiram man faces felony drug charges after police found suspected crack cocaine during a traffic stop, and then he tried to sneak more of the drug into the Solon Jail, according to Solon Police. Arrested and charged was Michael E. Skudrin, 58, of Hiram. He is charged with felony drug possession, conveyance of drugs into a detention center and possessing drug abuse instruments, according to the police report. Police pulled over a driver on Dec. 16 at about 9 a.m. on the U.S. 422 exit ramp to SOM Center Road for an expired license plate. Crack Cocaine Found In Car; Driver and Passenger Arrested

A man and woman were arrested on Oct. 3 after Solon Police officers fund what they believe was crack cocaine in their car, according to a police report. Christopher Michael Gause, 23, of West Farmington, was charged with felony drug possession. The passenger of the car, Debra Padgett, 55, of Cleveland, was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments and is also being held on an arrest warrant for another law enforcement agency. According to the report, a police office pulled over a car for an equipment violation on Oct. 3 at 11:59 p.m. A search of the car revealed a suspected crach pipe with drug residue, two used syringes and suspected crack cocaine.

Police Charge Two Men With Crack Cocaine Possession

A Solon Police officer on patrol March 24 recognized a familiar face: A guy he arrested and charged the week before driving with a suspended license. This time, police got the man, Ricardo Anderson, 55, of Bainbridge, on more serious charges: drug possession. According to the police report, the officer say a car driving on Harper Road near U.S. 422 and recognized the driver as Anderson, who was driving last week without a valid license. Anderson and his passenger, Leonard Phillips, 47, of Bainbridge, were both charged with drug possession for suspected crack cocaine possession. Anderson also was cited for an open alcohol container, driving with a suspended license and also brought in on a resisting arrest warrant from Bainbridge. Phillips…

Man Charged With Crack Cocaine Possession After Traffic Stop

Two men were arrested in Solon on March 16 after a traffic stop near Pepper Drive, according to Solon Police. One of the men, Raymond Fowler, 42, of Bainbridge, was charged with drug posession after officers found what they suspect was crack cocaine and a crack pipe on the floor of the car and on Fowler's person, according to the police report. The other man, the driver, originally misidentified himself by using his brother's name. He also had an open, 24-ounce can of Steel Reserve Malt Liquor in the car. But police learned that he was Ricardo Anderson, 55, of Bainbridge, and charged him with falsification, driving under a suspended license, driving with an open liquor container and a license-plate light violation.

Three Charged With Crack Cocaine Possession at Solon Motel

A woman entered the Solon Police Department on Sunday to report that her husband was being held against his will at the Solon Motel. Officers visited the motel, at the corner of Solon and Aurora roads, and found the man inside the motel room with another man and a woman. Turns out he wasn't being held hostage. Instead, police found the three people in possession of crack cocaine, according to the police report. Arrested and charged with felony drug possession were the husband, Andrew J. Zarycki, 48, of Maple Heights, Deidra E. Fairbanks, 30, of Chagrin Falls, and Dion C. Williams, 41, of Cleveland. Also found in the room was crack cocaine, a crack pipe, and a Chore Boy, which is used to smoke crack.
