Man Wanted For Stealing Almost $900 Worth Of Cigarettes From Gas Station

The information in this report is from the Solon Police.

Police are looking for a 42-year-old Cleveland man after an investigation determined he had stolen nearly $900 worth of cigarettes from a Solon gas station, according to Solon Police. Police believe the man stole the cigarettes on two different occasions from Circle K on Aurora Road in Solon. A representative of the gas station contacted police on Dec. 11. At last update, the Solon Police were preparing an arrest warrant for the man.

Son Steals Father's Credit Card, and Father Turns Him In

17-year-old Solon boy is charged with felony theft for using father's credit card to buy cigarettes and marijuana-like herbal spice

A Solon father turned in his 17-year-old son for stealing his credit card to buy cigarettes and a marijuana-like herbal spice. The father contacted police on Jan. 31 to say that his son had stolen the father's credit card from his wallet, which the father had left in the kitchen, according to the police report. On Dec. 29, the son spent $7.10 to buy cigarettes at a convenience store. On Jan. 16, the son purchased K2 Spice, a herbal substance that gives the same high as marijuana, at a Cleveland record store, according to the police report.
