Another Solon Car Break-In: Expensive Items Stolen From Car Outside Restaurant

Solon Police are already investigating a number of car break-ins in which computers and briefcases were stolen from cars parked outside Solon restaurants. Now there's been another one. On Nov. 28, a 32-year-old Lakewood man was eating dinner at Akira Hibachi at Uptown Solon on Kruse Drive at about 6 p.m. He came out to his car to find the driver's side window shattered and a bunch of items missing, including his briefcase, which contained a laptop, an Apple device and $750 in cash. More break-ins had occured outside restaurants in November. Two cars were broken into outside Blue Star Tavern on Brainard Road.
