Solon is not only a great place to raise kids, but is actually the BEST place to raise a family in Ohio, according to Businessweek's annual list. Businessweek's annual list of best places has named Solon the best place in Ohio to raise kids.

Last year, Solon was named one of the best small towns in America by Money Magazine. Now the city has a new honor to add to its resume. Businessweek has named Solon the best place in Ohio to raise kids in 2013. YOUR OPINION: Tell us why Solon is a great place to raise kids! Businessweek compiles its list annually and includes one town in each of the 50 states. Yes. So ironic, since the city of Solon would never have had a philharmonic orchestra if not for the vision of Ms. Prasser. And now the mayor gets accolades for that? And for the schools that her own children do not attend? How ironic indeed. And sad.   more ›
