More Than 300 Solon High Students Honored For Exceptional AP Test Scores

The College Board has honored 305 Solon High School students and recent grads for superior achievement on AP tests.

More than 300 Solon High School students and recent graduates have been honored for their exceptional scores on Advanced Placement tests, including two recent graduates who received the best scores in Ohio. Lisa Guo and Roger Zou, both 2012 graduates and both now in their freshman year at Duke University, are the 2012 Ohio AP State Scholars. Zou took 17 AP exams during his time at Solon and earned average score of 4.76 out of 5 on those tests. More than 300 Solon High School students (305 to be exact) have been honored for receiving excellent scores on the college-level Advanced Placement tests. Here is the list of the students and recent graduates who were honored. The information was provided by Solon Schools. Congratulations to the students and their parents! Solon students who earned the status of National AP Scholar Award by earning an average of 4 or higher on a 5-point scale on all of the AP exams they took and earning a score of 4 or higher on eight or more exams.  Together the 52 Solon students earned an average score on their exams of 4.7.
