Upward Basketball - A great experience for your young athletes
When was the last time you attended a sporting event and everyone was cheering for both teams? It may have been while watching Upward Basketball at Our Redeemer in Solon.
A few years ago our son brought home a flier for Upward Basketball. It's a league that plays their games at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Solon. I see that moment as a blessing.
We took Giovanni to sign up and it's been a pleasure from day one. We've met so many caring people who give of their time and talents to help shape these young people not just into athletes, but also good sportsmen and women. :)
Our son has loved to dribble a basketball from the time he first touched one. He could dribble around anyone, from hand to hand, between his legs, etc...but, he had no confidence in his shooting. This was not helped by the mean boys on the playground who remind him that he couldn't make a basket. You know kids like that.

Upward has changed that for him. With guidance from coaches, officials, parents and players he has come to love the game more and to take chances.
