There's tons of stuff on tap for the 2012 edition of the Solon Home Days

The 2012 Solon Home Days has tons of fun activities on tap for residents to enjoy during the four-day festival, which begins Thursday and ends Sunday.

THURSDAY (Events begin at 5 p.m.)

SOLON HOME DAYS RAFFLE BEGINS

What: Tickets for the raffle, organized by the Solon Benevolent Fund, are sold throughout the festival. Daily winners will be drawn, as well as featuring hourly prize packages, including cash prizes. All tickets will be eligible for the grand prize drawing held at 9 p.m. Sunday.

The grand prize is $5,000 cash, a donation from the Davis Automotive Group.

Cost: Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five tickets.

HOME DAYS PASTA DINNER

What: The annual pasta dinner serves as the kickoff to Home Days. The dinner includes pasta, salad, bread, dessert and a soft drink, and raises money for senior center programs. 

When and Where: There are three seatings for dinner: 5:00pm, 5:45pm and 6:30pm. Tickets are $8 person. Children 12 and under are $4 each and under 2 are free. The dinner is held at the Solon Community Center Banquet Hall.

Cost: Tickets are $8 at the door.

LIVE MUSIC: ARRIVAL

What: The self-described "pre-eminent Journey tribute band," Arrival puts its heart and soul into the popular band's hits.

When and Where: The main stage at 7 p.m.

SPARKLES THE CLOWN

What: Entertainment for the children, courtesy of Sparkles the Clown

When and Where: The children's tent from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
