Playoffs! Solon Will Play At Willoughby South Saturday
Solon fell to fifth in the region and will play at Willoughby South, the fourth seed, on Saturday night.
The unofficial high school playoff pairings have been announced, with the Solon Comets set to travel to Willoughby South to play the Rebels on Saturday night.
Solon fell from second to fifth in the Region 1 computer rankings, forcing the Comets to play on the road in the opening round of the playoffs.
These pairings were released today by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

Solon's drop was largely out of the team's control in large part because of chaos during the last week of the season.
St. Ignatius leaped over Solon after defeating St. Edwards, Twinsburg upset top-ranked Mentor and Cleveland Heights defeated Maple Heights. Solon, by contrast, 38-14 on Friday.
