Two Solon Divers Headed to State Meet

Two Solon divers, one from the boys team and the other from the girls, will compete in the State Meet in Canton later this month.

Senior Doug Karn and Junior Sivan Mills both advanced from the District meet, which is going on right now at Cleveland State University.

Karn finished sixth at the district meet to advance to states. Karn is returning to the state meet after competing there last season.

Mills finished second at districts after a first place finish at the sectional meet. She returns to the state diving championship meet for the third year. She was named an All-American in her freshman and sophomore years.
