The team recently defeated Chagrin Falls and Hudson. Against rival Hudson, first singles player Jason Schrode lost the first set 1-6, but then clawed back to win the next two sets and the match, 6-4, 6-3. That individual win sealed the team win.

Up next for the Comets is an away match this afternoon against Strongsville and a home match against Mayfield Wednesday. Both matches are scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
