Solon Student To Swim At Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Becca Hoffman, a stand-out relay racer for the Solon Comets swim team, will continue her education and swim career at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Becca is a three-year varsity letter winner for the Comets. She was an Ohio High School state qualifier on relays both her junior and senior years. Her split times at states this year were 50 freestyle 24.2, the 100 freestyle 54.5 and the 100 butterfly  100.2. Her fastest swims were at the district championship with splits of 23.6 in the 50 freestyle and 53.05 in the 100 freestyle.

"Becca is one of the best relay swimmers we have ever had in the Solon swim program," said swimming head coach Mike Davidson. "Becca has a tremendous competitive attitude. She is a great racer."
