The Solon Comets performed well at the state cross country meet last weekend in Hebron, led by a 9th place finish from standout runner Therese Haiss.
The boys team and three Lady Comets runners qualified for the meet.
The boys team finished 11th overall, with a team-best 16th place finish from Kevin Blank. Also representing the boys team was Dan Arters, Grant Behnke, Kevin Burns, Jacob Pearlman, John Riordan and Kyle Singerman.
Besides Haiss, the two other Lady Comet runners, Geneva Sandridge and Louiza Wise, finished 42nd and 58th, respectively.
