Solon Hockey Falls to Riverside 7-3 in Championship Game

Four goals for Riverside's Mark Sharpnack was too much for the Comets. They lost 7-3 in the championship game of the Solon Holiday Hockey Tournament.

For two periods, and Riverside fought in a close, hard hitting game.

But then the third period happened, and Riverside seized control behind Forward Mark Sharpnack, who scored four goals, including a hat trick in the third period alone.

Two minutes into third period, Solon clung to a 3-2 lead behind goals from John Hannah, Sam Littman and Dan Roberts.
