Solon Hockey Blanks West G in Two Periods
Game cut short after Solon scored 11 unanswered goals
Solon Hockey scored early and often in a state district tournament battle against West Geauga Thursday.
They scored so often the game, with a final score of 11-0, was called after the second of three periods.
Adam Weisfield had a hat trick and Spencer Wien and Sam Camiener each scored twice. Cory Jeziorski, Willie Keane, Jason Morel and Dan Roberts each scored a goal.

Leading the team in assists was Ryan Wolsky, who collected five.
Solon, the No. 7 seed in the tournament, faces fifth-seeded Hudson Sunday at 5:45 p.m. at the Kent State Ice Arena.
