Solon Football Standout Darian Hicks Attracting Scholarship Offers
Solon's Darian Hicks, a return specialist and defensive back for the Comets, has attracted numerous scholarship offers from major college programs.
return specialist and defensive back Darian Hicks is considered one of the top players in the state, and many major college football programs are recruiting him.
ESPN reports that Hicks has received offers from Virginia and Minnesota. Hicks has collected 15 scholarship offers, including Michigan State, Penn State, Iowa and West Virginia.
247 Sports has Hicks listed as a 4-star recruit.

Hicks is a multi-threat for the Comets, playing receiver, defensive back and kick and punt returner. He scored six touchdowns, including two as receiver and four in the return game.
"He's got great vision and can see the entire field," said Solon Coach Jm McQuaide last season. "Darian is a really skilled guy and he's good at getting himself into the open field. It's that natural ability to cut, stop and change direction."
