Solon Football Season Kicks Off Friday at Kenston
Solon Comets hope to start the 2013 season off with win.
The Solon Comets Football team will opens up their 2013 campaign on Friday night at Kenston’s Bomber Stadium at 7 p.m.
It will be the 43rd meeting between the teams, renewing a long rivalry that has been on hold the last few years. Solon holds the advantage over the Bombers 25-14-3.
The Freshman squad will be in action on Thursday against Kenston. Their game will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Stewart Field. JV will square off at Stewart Field at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Kenston made it to the second round of the state playoffs last season. Solon returns 18 players with significant experience as either a starter or alternate in 2012.
