Solon Boys' Soccer Topples St. Edward's, 2-0

Opportunistic offense and great defense leads the way for the Comets against St. Ed's

Solon boys' soccer went to Lakewood Saturday and upset St. Ed's 2-0. The win brings the Comets' record to 5-1-2.

St. Edward's was ranked sixth in the state in the latest poll coming into Saturday's game in Lakewood. But all the bounces went the Comets' way.

Jeremy Seaman broke the tie in the first half when he broke free and buried the ball in the net past a diving St. Ed's goalie. Orlando Cumberlander then scored late in the second half.
