Solon Boys Basketball Coach Resigns
Coach Bob Patton, who led the Comets for one season, resigned as head coach.
Solon Boys Basketball has resigned after one season with the team, according to the Plain Dealer.
Patton told the newspaper that the job was difficult because of family obligations and a long haul from his home and his teaching job in Westlake.
"We tried everything we could to make it work but it was just too complicated," Patton told the newspaper, adding: "I feel bad that it has to end this way but there was nothing else I could do."

The Solon team struggled this season, finishing with a 9-13 record. Patton had replaced Sean Fisher.
