Playoff Preview: Solon at Willoughby South, 7 p.m. Saturday

Solon enters the playoffs for the 17th time. This year, the Comets take on a tough Willoughby South Rebels team.

It's win-or-go-home time for the Solon Comets football team.

The Comets went into the final week of the regular season in second place in Region 1, poised for a home-field game in the first round. But as things often do with computer rankings, things changed quickly.

After the dust settled in week 10, the 9-1 Comets ended up as the fifth of eight seeds in the region, forcing them to play on the road against a fourth-seed opponent.
