Defeating Kent Roosevelt 4 to 1 on Tuesday evening, the Lady Comets now advance to District Finals on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Stewart Field. The Lady Comets need your support as they take on Hudson for the District Championship and earn the opportunity to advance to Regional play.

At the halfway point, Solon led 1 – 0 on a penalty kick scored by Maria Collica. Collica scored a second time in the second half following goals by Natalie Ockunzzi and Emily Russell. Kristen Confroy made great saves keeping Kent Roosevelt off the scoreboard until they were awarded a direct kick on a Solon foul late in the second half. The Kent Roosevelt player capitalized on the opportunity giving them their lone goal.
