Goalie Play Leads Solon Over Orange, 4-2

The game at the pond between Solon and Orange also raised money for breast cancer research.

Solon Comets Goalie Kyle Peterson knocked a way a barrage of shots from the Orange Lions, helping seal the Comets' 4-2 win.

Peterson ended the night with 38 saves, and Sam Littman led the scoring for the Comets with two goals.

Also scoring for Solon was Dan Roberts and John Hannah with an empty net goal.

The Comets improve their record to 9-4.

The game also helped raise money for breast cancer research. Fans from both teams donated money for each goal scored.
