Yates 5K Run/Walk & Kid’s Race

This race celebrates the life of David Yates, a teacher at Solon High School and an ALS activist, who died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, in 2000. The race will raise money to assist local individuals with ALS.

The first 400 registrants receive a specially designed technical shirt. Awards will be given to the top three male and female winners in a number of categories. After the race there will be refreshments, face painting and door prizes.
