Tinker's Creek Watershed Festival

Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners (TCWP) a nonprofit organization working to restore and protect the Cuyahoga River’s largest tributary, will be holding the 7th Annual Tinker’s Creek Watershed festival on September 15, 2012 from 10:30 AM to 3 PM at the Twinsburg Square in Twinsburg Ohio.  The Festival is FREE and open to the public and will include music, food samples, live animals, fun activities for kids and adults and raffle prizes. Come learn about your watershed and what you can do to help protect your water resources! Tax deductible contributions collected at the festival will be used to continue to improve the water quality and habitat of the Tinker’s Creek watershed.

A special ran barrel workshop will be held, allowing attendees to purchase and create their very own rain barrel to help capture rainwater to be used on their lawn and gardens.  Space is limited for the rain barrel workshop and you must register and pay ahead of time.

Please contact Babette Oestreicher at babette@tinkerscreekwatershed .org or 330-963-6243 by August 31, 2012 to sign up for the rain barrel workshop. Barrels are $75 each and are made from blue recycled food grade 55 gallon drums which can be painted any color.
