Boys' team loses 68-66 to Brush in District Tournament
The third time was not the charm for the Solon boys' basketball team.
Three times Solon played Brush this year, three times they lost. The third loss, a 68-66 defeat Wednesday night at the District Tournament, ended the Comets' season.
Solon trailed by 7 points at halftime, but then rallied to within one point by the fourth quarter. But Brush sneaked by, led by Curtis Oakley, who scored 30 points.

Leading the way for the Comets was DeAndre Payton with 16 points.
Solon finished with a 9-14 record.
