Comets Baseball Scores in 11th Inning to Defeat Stow

Jesse Keckler tied the game in the bottom of the seventh, and the Comets won 6-5 in the bottom of the 11th inning.

Solon won a marathon, extra-inning 6-5 victory over Stow on Wednesday at Solon Community Park.

With Solon trailing by one in the seventh inning, Jesse Keckler came to the plate and hit into a fielder's choice, scoring Bryce Littell. The Comets later won the game in the 11th inning.

Jesse Circelli had a good game at the plate for Solon. Circelli went 3-5 and scored one run. Circelli doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and eleventh innings.

Bryce Littell scored three runs, hitting a double and singling twice.

Aaron Epstein secured the win on the mound for the Comets. He rose to the occasion out of the bullpen, hurling five innings of shutout ball while racking up four strikeouts and giving up six hits and no walks. He's now 2-0 on the season.
