Solon Stands Strong At Its Own Tournament

This quote adorned the numerous locker signs made for Solon Speech & Debate competitors, urging them to do their best at the home tournament. With around 500 competitors, the tournament marked one of the largest Cleveland District tournaments of the season. The team had busily made preparations all week for it: running frantically around to tape room signs, burning one or two cookies while preparing baked goods, waiting patiently (and impatiently) for hundreds of sheets of papers to be copied for ballots. And our effort was not for naught! The VERY LAST tournament of the season before State Qualifiers (this week)!! Congratulations, Soopah Speechies and Debater Dawgs!
